i need to stop believing that i'm a lazy bum. idefk why the scientific muse suddenly went off for holiday leaving me high and dry. i thought we had a good thing going on? at least come back earlier so that we can make up. ne?

it's odd how married ex and another married guy friend asked me the same question in a span of 3 days. what's with you fellas??? no, i'm not ready to settle down. and what's with the married ex stupid double entendres??? please don't act like i missed out on something good when i didn't marry you. fucking male ego. buwekkk...

Enjoying the stories in yuletide_smut . Especially the one that was written for me. Yummy!! Can't wait for the authors reveal so that i can thank my anonymous writer properly. A bit nervous though. Hoped that my gift was good enough for the requester. 

And the muse seems energetic lately. Wrote something for saiyuki_time  after a very, very long hiatus. 

Back working on 26th by choice but will fly back to my hometown again this evening. The ceremony for sis's wedding haven't end yet. Ah, yes. Have a happy ever after dearest sister. muahs...XXX

Ever seen a fireworks display from above? i did on christmas. Beautiful.

My boss played a prank on me last night. My blood can not decide whether to boil or freeze over.

i've finished the final draft of manuscript for publication from my m.sc's work. HUZZAH!!

i celebrated by letting friends drag me to a long-winded dinner and a 3 hour karaoke session *i'm so blaming you all for my sore-throat, especially you sam*.

here's a fic for the prompt 'smell'. i did not intend to write a melancholic hakkai but the story came out a bit sad (ah...maybe a lot).

Notes: for saiyuki_time comm challenge #1-first times. timed at 21 minutes 20 secs. i thought it was an appropriate theme to write because this is my first time too. i'm actually not very sure if this is the "first times" that louiselux meant. oh, well.  *untitled as the only title i can think of is first time. i know. me? lame. Went to starbucks yesterday because yrou was craving a latte poor soul don't have starbucks near house.

Shortly after we arrived, 8 monks walked in to buy lattes and espressos. Yes, 8 very bald monks wearing orange robes(garbs?). And the first thing that popped into my mind was lechymonk's "Morning Coffee". I don't know why I relate her fic with the 8 monks sitting in front of our table. Maybe sanzo ikkou=coffee=monks?? There had to be an association somewhere. :P

So, the monks were sipping their coffees and I had a good look at their robes. If you're mystified where sanzo put his gun and his fan (I know I am), have fun figuring where the monks put their wallets. It's like it magically appeared between the folds although I cannot see any sign of pockets being sewn to that particular place. There wasn't even a bulge where the bulky wallet should be. Maybe they wore the robe in such a way so that the wallet won't fall out, or maybe the wallet can stick to the robe, or maybe all monks' robes has divine powers? Very mystifying I tell you....very,very.

And what's the point of my whole story? Nothing actually. I'm just easily amused. And weird...

annoying colleague A tried to show off her "fluent english" by correcting my english pronunciation. which by the way, was correct.

how do you correct an already correct thing? and of course, said colleague insists that i'm wrong. hello? i took a university course on pronunciation, missy.

i'm not saying my english is perfect, but i think it's much more better than hers.

i know. it's just that research and life won't let me sit down and post even one entry to this journal. so here it is...my first post.

am very grateful to anyone who stumbled across my page and took the time to read my thoughts/rants/raves/complaints.

hopefully, in the near future, i'll have some contributions to my favorite fandoms.
